HK417 Reaction Rod

Built specifically for HK’s 7.62 AR platforms, this hardened steel reaction rod gives you a rock-solid way to service muzzle devices and factory barrel nuts without stressing the receiver.

Compatibility:

Fits HK 417, G28, MR762, MR762A4, and MR308

Do the job right

Slides in from the rear of the upper and positively engages the barrel extension

Holds the upper securely in a bench vise for torqueing, timing, or removal/installation work of the barrel nut and muzzle devices.

Why it matters

Prevents receiver twist and damage during high-torque operations

Cross hatched to allow for better grip when using a vise and light passivated coating to help prevent corrosion. We recommend oiling the rod with gun oil when you receive it.
