Our Enhanced Magazine Baseplate is designed for Magpul® AR-15 PMAG® Gen M3/M3 and TMAG™ 20- and 30-round magazines in 5.56 NATO / .300 BLK.

Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hardcoat anodizing, it increases standard 30-round PMAG Gen M3/TMAG magazine capacity by +4 rounds. The aggressive geometry and pronounced knurling improve grip, indexing, and control during reloads, while the underside drain channel supports use in wet or maritime environments.

For a clean and refined appearance, the baseplate is retained internally by a custom steel retaining pin. A steel security screw is then installed over the retaining pin to provide added reliability under hard use.

Installation Instructions

• Ensure the magazine is unloaded before installation. Compatible only with Magpul PMAG Gen M3/M3 and TMAG 20- and 30-round AR-15 magazines in 5.56 NATO / .300 BLK.

• Remove the OEM baseplate and the lower spring plate attached to the magazine spring. These parts will not be reused.

• Depress the spring and slide the Enhanced Magazine Baseplate onto the magazine body. Due to tolerance variation between magazines, fitment may be snug. If needed, apply lubricant to the baseplate channels and gently tap the baseplate into position with a mallet until fully seated. Do not proceed until the baseplate is completely seated.

• Install the steel retaining pin and torque to 0.5 Nm.

• Apply blue Loctite® to the silver steel security screw and install it over the retaining pin. The magazine is now ready for use.

TMAG Fitment Note: These baseplates fit extremely tight on TMAG magazines and will require lubrication and mallet-assisted installation.
