Our Enhanced Magazine Baseplate is designed for Lancer® 5.56 / .300 BLK Gen 2 magazines.

Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat Black or Tan anodizing, the Enhanced Magazine Baseplate increases the capacity of standard 30-round Lancer 5.56 magazines by +4 rounds.

Aggressive geometry and pronounced knurling provide a secure gripping surface for improved indexing, handling, and control during magazine changes. An integrated drain channel on the underside allows water and debris to escape and supports use in wet or maritime environments.

For a clean exterior profile, the baseplate is secured internally by a custom steel retaining pin, while a secondary steel security screw installs over the retaining pin for additional retention and reliability under hard use.

A Type II Blue anodized version is also available for users who want a visually distinctive baseplate for training, FX, Simunition®, or other designated training magazines utilizing the compatible Lancer footprint. Color is for visual identification only and does not determine ammunition or training-system compatibility.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Ensure the magazine is completely unloaded before beginning installation.

• Remove the OEM baseplate and lower spring plate attached to the magazine spring. These components will not be reused.

• Depress the magazine spring and slide the Enhanced Magazine Baseplate onto the magazine body.

• Due to manufacturing tolerance variation between magazines, fitment may be snug. If necessary, apply a small amount of lubricant to the baseplate channels and gently tap the baseplate into position using a non-marring mallet. Ensure the baseplate is completely seated before proceeding.

• Install the steel retaining pin and torque to 0.5 Nm.

• Apply blue Loctite® threadlocker to the steel security screw. Install the security screw over the retaining pin and torque to 0.5 Nm.

• Verify that the baseplate is fully seated and secured before use.
