Shadow Strategic Enhanced Handguards reintroduce a beloved legacy-profile rail for the HK417/MR762 platform, offered in two lengths to match modern 12–16” configurations.

The short Shovelnose version is the compact option featuring a front Shovelnose with direct adjustable gas block access for both A1 side-adjustable gas blocks (through the QD cup opening) and modern A4-style front-knob systems, including MR762 A4 and Waffen Burke gas blocks. Optimized for 12–13” barrels while remaining compatible with longer barrel variants, it also supports fitment with OEM HK gas blocks with sling loops, preserving factory hardware and function.

The long variant (Extended/ISR) retains access for both A1 and A4 style gas blocks while providing additional rail space for users running 16” barrels or accessory-heavy setups. Its internal width is designed to support integrated suppressor-style builds, allowing the user to run a shorter barrel and tuck a direct-thread suppressor under the handguard for a clean, cohesive profile.

Both variants will be offered in Black Anodized and RAL8000 Cerakote finishes.
