Battery Caps - Completed
11/29/24, 10:00 PM
It started with a dead red dot.
During a long-range field test, one of the engineers at Shadow Strategic noticed something troubling: the operator’s optic had gone dark—battery failure. The culprit wasn’t negligence—it was limitation. Most optics only allow for a single CR2032. No redundancy, no headroom.
Back at the bench, the conversation sparked: Why are we still limited to a single battery format? What if we could build modularity into one of the most overlooked components—the battery cap itself?
Enter the Shadow Battery Cap.
Developed in close collaboration with Raid Research, the Shadow Battery Cap was engineered to offer flexibility and reliability for operators who demand more. Compatible with Aimpoint T1, T2, ACRO, and any optic using the same cap interface, it allows users to choose their power setup: either a single high-capacity CR2050 or dual CR2032s—one active, one in reserve, safely inverted to prevent unwanted discharge.
The result? Up to 1.5x more runtime, reduced downtime, and a smart storage solution for when it matters most.
Born from field failure and refined in the lab, the Shadow Battery Cap isn’t just an accessory—it’s a quiet upgrade that speaks volumes when the stakes are high.
